•) I have a thing for people who've known each other/were friends a long time ago, then lost contact (for whatever reason) and now meet again. Especially in horrible situations. Here, the power imbalance I have in my sign up could work wonderfully, especially if they were equals and now are not considered equals anymore.

•) Give me all the softness. Flashbacks to what the husband's or slave's life was like are great, but I'd like it if there was still a sense of comfort/healing in the fic.

•) Comforting characters struggling to adapt too, not really knowing how to help but doing their best.

•) I am a big fan of caretaking, physically, yes, but I ADORE emotional caretaking too. Especially after misunderstandings!

•) I LOVE characters who have been mistreated, hurt, abused and yes, they're scared and distrustful and think they'll get hurt – but they are still kind.

•) Unconventional settings! Historical settings! Surprise me! I'm not the biggest fan of paranormal stuff, but surprise me!

•) I love 'watching' (reading how) characters heal slowly. Catnip. Yes. Give me all of that.

•) Also, as mentioned in the sign-up: Clear power imbalance and the one with less/no power is stunned they won't be hurt.

•) Women comforting their men <3

•) Women kicking ass, being badass and taking no sh*t <3

•) Destroying gender stereotypes(!)

•) The slave is so used to mistreatment they can't phatom why they'd be saved OR

•) The husband is so used to years and years of his first wife's abuse he does not think his second wife will be any different

•) If you take the prompts that have/imply rape/non-con, I'd like there to be NO actual non-con, but thoughts/fear it's going to happen (and it does not!) are fine. The slave or husband being scared of the rescuer or wife is also fine.

•) Also, a bit unrelated, but I love descriptions. Can be everything! Surroundings, the weather, emotions, clothing, smells... The more 'immersive' the better!

Boiling Point

Jamie and Emily are everything. I love how she takes on a kind of mother-role for him, how she worries for him and takes care of him! It's a heavy show sometimes, but I love their bond. Some general ideas:

•) I would simply LOVE a fic about their talk that never actually got shown in the movie. How does Emily react to Jamie's scars after work? Does he tell her why he self-harms? What's the reason? Is he afraid she's going to get angry, is he ashamed, does he crave her comforting him? How does she comfort him? (I thought the hug scene in the movie was so lovely!)
Just let your imagination run wild!

•) Similiarly, with Jamie accidentally self-harming too deep/almost dying in the show: We see Emily's reaction, we see the aftermath. I'd love a fic that goes deeper into that – into Emily waiting for Jamie to wake up – what's going through her mind? – and then therapy and her supporting him.

•) I also would love an exploration of Jamie's family situation! Where are his parents? Does he have a bad relationship with them? Do they know about his mental health? Also, headcanons about them (his parents) are great! How does Emily react to whatever he tells her?

•) Also, a bit unrelated, but I love descriptions. Can be everything! Surroundings, the weather, emotions, clothing, smells... The more 'immersive' the better!

The Hobbit

•) I love Fíli and Kíli. I love how they protect each other, and especially all the instances where Fíli worries about Kíli.

•) Both of them are warriors, both of them trained to fight. Kílis injury leaves him weak, but he doesn't want to show it – does Fíli notice anyway? (In the movie, he does, as do the others, but I'd love a fic that goes deeper into that!)

•) Their brotherly bond? It's amazing. I loved all the interviews where both Dean O'Gorman and Aidan Turner talked about the bond Fíli and Kíli have – with Fíli being very aware of his responsibilities as the heir and Kíli being more adacious, but they're still both very competent abd look out for each other.

•) A fic about Fíli defending Kíli to Thorin when he's left behind would also be lovely! Or shortly before Tauriel heals him – we see Fíli brushing Kílis hair out of his face, constantly hovering near him and keeping an eye on his brother. I'd love a deeper exploration of what Fíli feels. And Kíli, even in his injured state – is he afraid he's let the others down?

•) Also, a bit unrelated, but I love descriptions. Can be everything! Surroundings, the weather, emotions, clothing, smells... The more 'immersive' the better!


Baldur's Gate

•) I would love a fic where the Origin characters find out that Astarion is a vampire. He gets defensive, maybe scared what they'll do, that he'll get cast aside – and it just does not happen.

•) Maybe there's a point in-fic where Astarion needs blood desperately and is stunned that his companions offer it willingly?

•) I love reluctant allies.

•) Poor Astarion has a truckload of trauma – without actual noncon in the fic, I'd love an exploration of this! Maybe he tries to seduce them and they're shocked/confused/'disgusted/sad for him and are like, let's heal some of that trauma through talking and giving you love.

•) Astarion is hiding a lot under his outgoing persona – 'I'm sorry for existing' could work, if you want that particular tag.

•) Astarion is wounded and needs blood ro heal; he's shocked when the others not only offer but also tell him he's important to them.


•) Also, a bit unrelated, but I love descriptions. Can be everything! Surroundings, the weather, emotions, clothing, smells... The more 'immersive' the better!
